Daniel Pruski, Pharm.D., RPH, MS, Ph.D., FASCP, was named a Professional of the Year in 2010

OAKFIELD, NY, January 12, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Daniel Pruski, Researcher and Pharmacist for Rx Pharmacy, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in pharmaceutical research and consulting.

With 16 years of professional experience, Daniel Pruski specializes in pharmacological therapy and research. He has devoted most of his career to Rx Pharmacy, a pharmaceutical care consulting company. In charge of overseeing a pharmacy, he is responsible for conducting new drug research, reviewing drug utilization for possible reviews, and managing drug costs and containment for therapeutic and formulary options. Deeply involved in sundry aspects of his profession, Dr. Pruski also helps run community programs, manages a smoking cessation clinic and substance abuse program, and teaches medical and pharmacy students.

Respected by his peers, Dr. Pruski has been published in Oncology Times and Journal of Investigative Dermatology. He also collaborated on research by the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD. In light of his accomplishments, Dr. Pruski was named a Professional of the Year in Pharmaceutical Research and Consulting in 2010 by Cambridge Who's Who. He attributes his success to his work ethic, goal-oriented nature, and earnest desire to help people.

Dr. Pruski received his doctor of pharmacy in 2010 from the University of Florida, his Ph.D. in epidemiology in 2003 from William Cullen Bryant University, and his bachelor of science in pharmacy in 1992 from Albany College of Pharmacy. A certified immunization professional and registered pharmacist, he holds a certification in hypnotherapy. His professional affiliations include the American Society for Nutrition, the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the American Diabetes Association, the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, the Drug Information Association, the Harvard Medical School Postgraduate Association, the American Hypnosis Association, and the American Association of Professional Hypnotherapists. He is also a fellow of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists. Dr. Pruski looks forward to continuing to improve outcomes in substance abuse and in pharmacology in the coming years.
