EAST HANOVER, NJ, August 11, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Madhav Namjoshi, Ph.D., Director at Novartis AG, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in pharmaceutical research.

Dr. Namjoshi has spent the past 13 years of his professional life remaining abreast of trends and developments in the pharmaceutical arena. In his current capacity as a director of Novartis AG, a world-renowned pharmaceutical company, he oversees oncology product development and research, creates and implements innovative strategies that deliver breakthroughs in market access and reimbursement, and negotiates at a senior level. He is a member of the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research and SMDM.

Attributing his success to his focus and discipline, he is grateful to have become involved in his profession because of his education, which was tailored to this industry. He received a bachelor's degree in pharmacy at Bombay University in India, a master's degree in administrative pharmacy from The University of Toledo, an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, and a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical socio-economics from The University of Iowa. In the near future, Dr. Namjoshi hopes to make major contributions to health policy.
