PANAMA CITY, REPUBLIC OF PANAMA, October 18, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Stefan Roehr, Senior Director of Supply Chain and Plant Logistics for Sanofi, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Roehr has 27 years of industry experience, and has spent the last three years as a senior director of supply chain and plant logistics for Sanofi, a pharmaceutical company. He is responsible for directing all logistics activities in Latin America. In addition, he manages plant logistics covering 30 markets and eight plants, solves critical issues, and establishes ways to provide pharmaceutical products to markets and consumers quickly and efficiently.

He spent 19 years working in finance in the United States, and became involved in his current profession to make a difference in the way medicines are distributed and delivered to consumers. For the last eight years, he has worked in supply chain management in Germany, France, Venezuela and Latin America. He will be based in São Paulo, Brazil, for the next three to five years. His goals for this time period include making a significant impact in the logistics aspect of the company and helping to further the team's operational excellence.

Mr. Roehr received a diploma in business administration and management from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a master's degree in economics from London School of Economics and two bachelor's degrees from Richmond University in London — one in computer science, and one in business administration, which was awarded to him with honors.
