National Trial Lawyers Group Honors South Carolina Lawyer With Lifetime Achievement Award
The American Association for Justice (AAJ) has honored South Carolina medical malpractice attorney Fayrell Furr Jr. with its Lifetime Achievement Award.

September 21, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The American Association for Justice (AAJ) has honored South Carolina medical malpractice attorney Fayrell Furr Jr. with its Lifetime Achievement Award. AAJ, a leading national trial lawyers' group, gives the award annually to an AAJ member who exemplifies outstanding devotion to the pursuit of justice, efforts to help injured people, and a commitment to improving the justice system.

Sen. Ernest Hollings, the distinguished former senator from South Carolina, presented the award to Mr. Furr at the AAJ annual convention, held this year in New York.

AAJ President Gibson Vance made a statement emphasizing Mr. Furr's long record of service to and passion advocacy for clients. "Fayrell has devoted his life's work to protecting and defending the civil justice system," Mr. Vance said.
