Perla M. Baez Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Perla M. Baez completed a fellowship with the National Institutes of Health
SABANA GRANDE, PR, September 3, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Perla M. Baez, Graduate Assistant and Ph.D. Candidate at the Ponce School of Medicine, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in medical technology.
At the Ponce School of Medicine, Ms. Baez manages the laboratory, conducts experiments and analyzes data. She trains students, and discussed laboratory results with physicians, pharmacologists and biochemists. Ms. Baez encourages developments in pharmacology and biochemistry that will enhance the lives of women globally.
A certified medical technologist, Ms. Baez is pursuing a Ph.D. at the Ponce School of Medicine. She is the recipient of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Biochemical Research. Having completed a fellowship with the National Institutes of Health, Ms. Baez was recognized by the organization with a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award. She is a member of the Puerto Rican Foundation for Patients with Endometriosis, the Society for the Study of Reproduction, and the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
