Mr. Blankstein has over 16 years of experience in drug development, and contract research organization selection and management. At the Genzyme Corporation, he oversees clinical development projects, and manages global project teams and clinical operation around the world. Specializing in project management and planning, Mr. Blankstein is often the key presenter at industry-related conferences. He attributes his accomplishments to his listening skills, and ability to develop realistic projects and program plans and timelines.

The recipient of a Ph.D. from Wesleyan University, Mr. Blankstein is a member of the clinical trial subcommittee for the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council. He is also affiliated with the Drug Information Association and the Project Management Institute, Inc. In the future, Mr. Blankstein intends to manage larger study teams on key programs. He would also like to become more involved with the management of mergers and acquisitions.
