Dr. Anne M. Conyers-Hom completed PharmD/MD, with residencies in Internal Medicine and Neurology
UPPER MONTCLAIR, NJ, July 29, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Anne M. Conyers-Hom, President of IPL, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in neuropharmacology and complex medication regimen optimization.
At IPL, Dr. Conyers-Hom is responsible for participating in neuropharmacology consulting for families with developmentally disabled or epileptic children. She meets with parents on an individualized basis and coordinates groups for managing children's long-term use of medications. With 25 years of professional experience, she attributes her success to the excellent education and mentoring that she received.
Dr. Conyers-Hom completed internship training in Internal Medicine, followed by residency training in Neurology. She also completed a Research Fellowship in Neurology, and a specialized Fellowship in epilepsy in individuals with developmental disabilities. She earned an MD from the American University of the Caribbean and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Dr. Conyers-Hom is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the Epilepsy Foundation of America, and the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved.
