Narayan C. Chaudhuri Honored for Accomplishments in Pharmaceuticals
Narayan C. Chaudhuri received a postdoctorate in antiviral drug development

ACTON, MA, April 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Narayan C. Chaudhuri, Associate Director for Sirtris Pharmaceuticals, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in drug development.

At Sirtris Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Chaudhuri conducts research, manages projects related to active pharmaceutical trials and aligns them with clinical trial corporate guidelines. He directs external projects, and outsources to companies within and outside of the United States. With 15 years of experience in his field, he attributes his success to his ability to contribute to clinical research.

The recipient of a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mr. Chaudhuri earned a Postdoctorate in Antiviral Drug Development. He has also received postdoctoral fellowships from the University of Rochester and the University of Illinois. With two antiviral research patents, Mr. Chaudhuri has contributed to 15 publications, including the Journal of the American Chemical Society and Organic Process & Research Development. In the future, he hopes to become the senior director of active pharmaceutical development. Mr. Chaudhuri also hopes that his research contributions on aging make a global impact.
