Marina Nudelis Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Pharmacy Studies
Marina Nudelis relishes having the opportunity to make people's lives easier

BROOKLYN, NY, March 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Marina Nudelis, Pharmacy Intern and Student at Long Island University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in pharmacy studies.

Prompted by her twin passions for chemistry and mathematics, Marina Nudelis decided to embark on a career in pharmacy. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in pharmaceutical science at LIU and eagerly complements the knowledge she gains from her classes with practical experience. Also an intern at her local pharmacy, she helps pharmacists fill prescriptions, administers blood pressure screenings, and interacts with patients and educates them about home diagnostic machines.

Prior to starting her internship, Ms. Nudelis honed her skills as a pharmacy technician for two years. As an intern, she works to show people that a pharmacist is more than someone who simply stands behind the drugstore counter. She truly enjoys her work and relishes the opportunity it affords her to make people's lives easier. She attributes the success that she has found quite early in her career to her motivation and upbringing and to the support that she receives from her family.

Ms. Nudelis recently passed her third test for licensing. She is a member of the American Pharmacists Association, and is a recipient of the HIAS Award for Pharmacy and the Award for Pharmacy from the Jewish Foundation for Education of Women. She looks forward to completing her internship, becoming licensed in New York, and growing within the medical field.
