As a sales representative for Sciele Pharma, Inc. and a Registered Dietitian, Mrs. Alfano specializes in diabetes care. She takes responsibility in promoting products for type II diabetes, lipid disorders and unstable angina and consults with endocrinologists, cardiologists, primary care physicians and pharmacists to discuss the features and benefits of her product portfolio. Magdalena possesses comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology and is recognized as a credible, trusted advisor with dietetics foundation and endocrine and cardiovascular disease state expertise. Mrs. Alfano has been employed by Sciele Pharma, Inc., a company that aims to treat patients with high cholesterol, hypertension, high triglycerides, unstable angina and type II diabetes since 2007. They design women's health products to improve the health and well-being of mothers and their babies, in addition to formulating pediatric drugs to treat allergies, asthma and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders.

Mrs. Alfano is a President's Club winner for 2008 and ranked in the top 7th percentile for the Primary Care Diabetes Division exceeding the President's Club criteria for 2009, 12th sales representative of 174 YTD. She completed an internship in dietetics, and received her Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, with a concentration in nutrition, from Montclair State University in 2005. She is a Registered Dietitian and a member of the American Dietetic Association, the American Association of Diabetes Educators and Kappa Omicron Nu National Honor Society. She attributes her success to her passion for helping others. In the future, she intends to become a Certified Diabetes Educator.
