John R. Ott Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
John R. Ott celebrates a 34-year career as the director of pharmacy at the Eastern Oregon Psychiatric Center

PENDLETON, OR, November 11, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- John R. Ott, Retired Director of Pharmacy for the Eastern Oregon Psychiatric Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in pharmacology.

Prior to his retirement as the director of pharmacy at the Eastern Oregon Psychiatric Center, a position he held for 34 years, Mr. Ott was responsible for checking orders that technicians had filled, performing drug review audits to determine the cost-effectiveness of certain drugs, determining the effectiveness of the prescribing habits of pharmacists, and lecturing on pharmacology to nurses and doctors. He attributes his success to the encouragement he received from his parents.

Mr. Ott received a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy. He is a lifetime member of Trout Unlimited.
