Tabitha M. Tibbett Recognized for Excellence in Medicine
Tabitha M. Tibbett celebrates nearly 15 years in pharmaceutics

PEORIA, AZ, January 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tabitha M. Tibbett, Pharm.D., Pharmacy Manager of Walgreens Co., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in pharmaceutical operations.

With 14 years of professional experience, Ms. Tibbett specializes in operations management. She is responsible for managing the pharmacy, supervising two Pharmacists, two interns and five technicians. Other duties include consulting, compounding, MTM, and doctor detailing. She also educates Maricopa diabetes patients on their disease state and performs detailed MTM for these patients as well. She started working for Walgreens at age 17 and progressed to her current position. She attributes her success to her parents' support and her determination to succeed.

Dr. Tibbett received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Midwestern University in 2004 and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Grand Canyon University in 2000. She is a certified diabetes trainer for Maricopa Diabetes Program and has certifications in Immunization and MTM from APhA. She is a preceptor for Midwestern University and a member of APhA, the National Association of Professional Women, and Phi Delta Chi. She volunteers her time and lends a hand at Phoenix Children's Hospital and the Ronald McDonald Houses. In the near future, she intends to become a clinical pharmacist.
