Jennylou Decal Atienza Utilizes Communication Skills to Effectively Deliver Pharmacy Services

BUENA PARK, CA, October 2, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jennylou Decal Atienza, Pharmacy Technician for Kaiser Permanente and PharMerica, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in pharmacy services.

With six years of experience as a pharmacy technician, Ms. Atienza has developed an expertise in communication. In her current position, Ms. Atienza is responsible for processing doctors' orders and patients' prescriptions, responding to patients' questions, filling prescriptions and scanning container labels. She attributes her success thus far to her tenacity. She chose to enter her profession because she wanted to help others through medicine and support her family in the Philippines.

A graduate of San Diego Community College, Ms. Atienza's completed an Associate of Science in Nursing in 2009, and an Associate of Arts in 2006. She hopes to complete a master's degree, and become a midwife or an anesthetist in the future. In addition to her work-related responsibilities, Ms. Atienza volunteers at various homeless shelters in her area.
