Michael P. O'Brien aspires to become a biostatistician

KENDALL PARK, NJ, September 15, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael P. O'Brien, MS, Senior Administrative Associate, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in pharmaceutical administrative operations.

As a senior administrative associate, Mr. O'Brien specializes in mathematics and statistics. He is responsible for managing administrative support for the screening and recruiting departments including volunteer payments, writing and voiding checks, overseeing 1099 forms, transmitting data files, conducting research, dispersing referral payments and faxing calendars and documentation. He attributes his success to his work ethic, perseverance, focused nature and to the support he receives from his parents.

Mr. O'Brien received his Master of Science in Statistics with a concentration in Biostatistics from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (2009), completed coursework in statistics (2002) and attained his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (1991). He is a certified secondary school mathematics teacher and a member of the American Statistical Association, The Mathematical Association of America and the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. In the future, he would like to obtain his Ph.D. and become a biostatistician.
