NORTHRIDGE, CA, August 26, 2009 -- Laurie R. Grimaldi, Pharmacy Technician, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in pharmacy services.

A 23-year veteran of the healthcare field, Ms. Grimaldi specializes in clinical IV, chemotherapy and neonatal medicine. She is a nationally-certified technician and excels in working in a clean room preparing IV medicines and assisting in chemotherapy and neonatal medicine. Ms. Grimaldi devoted her career to healthcare because she was ill as a child. She attributes her success to her commitment to patient care and to the support that she received from her mother.

A Licensed Pharmacy Technician who is also Nationally Certified, Ms. Grimaldi completed coursework at Los Angeles Valley College. Her professional affiliations include the American Pharmacist Association and the Emergency System for Advance Registration of Volunteer Health Professionals. She gives generously to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Project Angel Food. In five years, Ms. Grimaldi aspires to share her clinical experience with pharmacy technicians just coming out of technical school.
