Industry Leader Mary Adomaitis Added to the Cambridge Who's Who Network
Mary Adomaitis celebrates 19 years with Centocor

MALVERN, PA, August 12, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mary Adomaitis, MS, CMC Team Leader for Centocor, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in pharmaceutical operations.

As a CMC Team Leader for Centocor, Ms. Adomaitis is responsible for facilitating the pharmaceutical development CMC drug development team. This team develops the new molecular entity via cloning, cell culture, purification, formulation and analytical development. In addition Ms. Adomaitis represents PD on the Compound Development Team. This team is charged with designing clinical trials and evaluating the study data.

Ms. Adomaitis previously worked as a medical technologist for hospital clinical labs. When she began working for Centocor 19 years ago, she started out in analytical method development and then moved on to the release and stability testing group as an Assistant Director. She became a CMC team leader in October 2008 and attributes her success to hard work and a desire to learn other areas of the pharmaceutical business.

Ms. Adomaitis received her Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from The University of Scranton (1988) and Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Chemistry from Lock Haven University (1981). She is a certified medical technologist with the American Society for Clinical Pathology and a member of the Association of Clinical Scientists. She has received numerous internal awards and co-honors.
