Dr. Prashant Shambharkar has been interested in biology since he was young


CAMBRIDGE, MA, June 24, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Prashant Shambharkar, Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow at Novartis, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of pharmaceutical research.

As a Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow at Novartis, Dr. Shambharkar specializes in molecular immunology and is responsible for conducting research on auto-immune diseases and cancer. Since childhood, he has had an interest in biology and attributes his success to his honesty and hard work.

Dr. Shambharkar received his Ph.D. in T-Cell Cancer Lymphomas in 2007, his Master's Degree in Biotechnology in 2001 and his Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology in 1999. He is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research and the American Association of Immunologists. He hopes to attain a faculty position at an esteemed institution within his field.
