    NEWMANSTOWN, PA, October 15, 2008 /Pharmaceutical News Articles/ -- John Matthew Saldibar, Method Development Scientist for Bayer HealthCare, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of pharmaceuticals.

With more than 10 years of professional experience, Mr. Saldibar specializes in analytical and pharmaceutical chemistry. As a method development scientist, he is responsible for analyzing over-the-counter drugs and narcotics, and developing new drug testing methods. He ventured into pharmaceuticals after developing a fascination with science and law while in high school, and credits his success to his supportive family, advisors and guidance counselor. Mr. Saldibar previously worked as a dental specialist in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1994 to 2002.

Mr. Saldibar is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. He received his Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Lehigh University in 2003 and his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Albright College in 1999. He is the head coach of the Albright College Women's Cross-Country Team and is also a 5K/10K run fundraiser. He volunteers with various charity events in Newmanstown. His goals for the future include developing methods for testing that are more environment-friendly, specifically reducing solvents.
