With an impressive background that spans over 20 years, Dr. Eley specializes in conducting research in drug delivery systems, and is responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate students. Dr. Eley has published several research papers and book chapters, and has recently received a grant of half a million dollars for his research as a co-investigator in 2007. He considers hard work to be the driving force behind his success.

Dr. Eley received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics in 1988 and his Master's Degree in Pharmacology from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland and his Bachelor's Degree in Physiology from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He is a member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and Sigma Xi. He aspires to move into administration and become a chairperson in the future.
