He became involved in his profession because he always wanted to work in the scientific field and attributes his success to his education and upbringing.

Dr. Railkar received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2000, his Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from West Virginia University in 1991 and his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai in India in 1987. He is a member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and supports Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the Sunday Breakfast Association. He aspires to continue his growth and attain a management position in the future.
