ClinicalGigs.com, an internet site for Clinical Trial Research careers, has announced and launched a new job board for clinical research jobs.
Finally, a pharmaceutical job board that prescreens all resumes and candidates can control their status as jobseekers.

/Pharmaceutical News Articles/ - DURHAM, NC, May 02, 2008 - ClinicalGigs.com, an internet site for Clinical Trial Research careers, has announced and launched a new job board for clinical research jobs, an extensive career resource center for job seekers and employers, as well as a resume database. The site can be found at http://www.ClinicalGigs.com.

ClinicalGigs.com provides full candidate and employer resources to help attract and find talented employees.
The site offers elaborate job board software allowing candidates and employers to make use of a full function of features. Candidates may search the hundreds of jobs in a number of ways, may add their resume, as well as set up email job alerts. Employers may post jobs free for the next 60 days. Candidates and employers can set up their own accounts and profiles so that they do not need to re-enter information on each visit. Jobs and resumes are updated daily.

The site categorizes clinical jobs to make job searching and posting easier. Candidates can search on jobs based on any of the following categories; CRA, Regulatory, Clinical, Safety, Data, QA/QC, Medical Writing, Medical Director, Project Management, Biostatistics, and 100k Plus jobs.
Candidates resumes are reviewed by the staff at ClinicalGigs.com to insure that they are qualified. Steve Pruner, the founder and CEO of ClinicalGigs.com said, "We have two goals here with Clinicalgigs.com: number one is that we want to give more control to the owners of the resumes, the candidates and to present employers with pre-qualified candidates. After the candidate's resume is reviewed and approved, they can goto MY PROFILE and set their job seeking status to one of these conditons: ACTIVE IN A JOB SEARCH, or NOT ACTIVELY JOB SEEKING BUT WOULD BE OPEN TO A BETTER JOB, or NOT ACTIVELY JOB SEEKING. This also gives the employer a simple and effective way to sort candidates.
Employers can purchase various packages of job postings and resume views. They can setup a single user ID and passwords or they can setup subaccounts. Mr. Pruner said, "We wanted to free the employer from the tryanny of user IDs and passwords. Since we sell job postings and resume views by the number, we really don't care if they want to give out their user ID and passwords to anyone they want to. We are not threating to sue our clients over how they use their account. They are free to use it how they please."
The resume database is expected to be available in June/July 2008.
