Cambridge Who's Who Names Judith Brickey Professional of the Year in Infusion Consulting
Judith E. Brickey, Infusion Consultant at Omnicare Pharmacy has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Infusion Consulting.

Brickey, Infusion Consultant at Omnicare Pharmacy has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Infusion Consulting. Brickey, known as ''The IV Queen'' throughout Northern California, has more than 43 years of professional experience. As an infusion consultant for Omnicare Pharmacy, she has expertise in the insertion of PICC lines and mid-lines. Brickey also teaches a 30-hour IV certification course to licensed vocational nurses and registered nurses. Prior to joining Omnicare, Brickey worked in a hospital burn unit, cardiac intensive care unit, neonatal intensive care unit and surgical intensive care unit. She was also employed in the fields of ambulatory surgery, home infusion and consulting in long-term care. Omnicare Pharmacy is the nation's leading provider of pharmaceutical care for seniors. Brickey received a Bachelors Degree in Health Sciences from Chapman University in 1990 and a Nursing Diploma from Mercy Hospital in 1963. She holds Public Health Certification from California State University, Dominguez Hills and is a Certified Registered Intravenous Nurse. Brickey is a member of the Intravenous Nurses Society and California Nurses Association.
